UNC Charlotte’s “2019 Concert,” Charlotte, NC, USA

Faculty from the UNC Charlotte Department of Dance are joined on stage by local artists and prominent guests representing companies such as New York City Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company, and José Limón Dance Company. The exciting program includes contemporary choreography and a classic work by modern dance icon Martha Graham.

Works will be presented by their Charlotte residency. Artistic Director Kim Jones is also a Regisseur with the Martha Graham Dance Company and will re-stage a Martha Graham duet for acclaimed Ballet dancer (NYCB, MIAMI CITY BALLET, Bejart) Myrna Kamara and Graham/Movement Migration Artist Lorenzo Pagano.
