Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival was founded in 2010 as a way to share and celebrate the work of practicing contemporary dance artists and companies. This year’s festival will take place September 29 & 30, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
Movement Migration is presenting Traces, choreographed by Artistic Director Kim Jones, which explores power dynamics, empathy, and reflection on the memory of a loved one. The piece features music from Roberto Cacciapaglia, La Scomparsa di Giove edited by Alex Davis, and costumes by Wendy Yang. The piece will be danced by the newest Movement Migration artist and former Martha Graham Company Dancer, Anne O'Donnell.
